Mud applications

Among the various types of mud therapy, mud applications are most often used - the method of partial application of mud to various parts of the body. The healing mud is applied to the hands, forearms, neck and joints.

Medical indications for the use of therapeutic mud is a wide range of diseases, such as:

• Diseases of the genitourinary system (infertility, chronic pyelonephritis, chronic cystitis, chronic prostatitis, vesiculitis, epididymitis, orchitis, potency disorders);
• skin diseases (chronic forms of eczema, limited and diffuse neurodermatitis, with the exception of the exudative form, limited psoriasis, initial scleroderma, ichthyosis, keratoderma, residual effects after burns and frostbite, skin scars after chemical and thermal burns and traumatic injuries, nasal baldness) ;
• gynecological diseases, mud therapy is widely used for infertility in gynecology;
• diseases of joints, muscles;
• digestive diseases;
• diseases of the vascular system;
• non-tuberculosis respiratory diseases.
