In honor of International Apple Day, the traditional Apple Festival took place today at "Almaty Resort."
The festive event gathered guests of the resort, local residents, city visitors, media representatives, bloggers, and figures from the arts. The resort's chefs prepared a celebratory pilaf and a variety of apple-based pastries for the festival attendees.
“The special feature of today’s treats is that all culinary dishes were made from locally grown apples. All ingredients are natural, with no additives. We used several varieties of apples for the installation, and even fresh-pressed juice was served on site. Everything was made with love by our team of 12 chefs,” shared head chef Tolkyn Razhan.
A fruit installation, symbolizing the city, was a highlight for the guests, drawing much admiration. Honorary guests, including popular singers, performed their hits for the crowd. The attendees also learned fascinating and informative facts about the history of the beautiful city of Almaty and its deep connection with apples.
For media representatives and bloggers attending the event, a special press tour was organized. They toured the resort, familiarized themselves with the medical procedures, spoke with the medical staff, and received detailed information about the resort’s operations.
This is the second consecutive year the Apple Festival has been held, and there are plans to make it a tradition with an even more exciting program in the future.
